Uploading profile image error (RESOLVED)

Hi all,
I have a problem I just notices . My members getting an error uploading their profile image. Iwas working fine then it stopped. I upgraded to joomla 1.08 a couple of days ago. I don't believe that is the problem. Since I don't see anyone else complaining about it. It dosen't gibve me a specific error . It just says:

"Error occurred during the moving of the uploaded file."
I have NetPBM as my choice "Image Software"

ImageMagick   Not installed 
NetPBM   Auto dectected Netpbm 9.24 
GD1 library Not installed 
GD2 library Not installed 



This happened all of a suddedn I don't know why.

I had to install GD 2 on my server .....
thats it...

Does this mean only GD2 works? Cos whether's its GD2 or NetPBM, it doesn't work for me.

I'm having the same problem. I have been using GD2 for some time with no issues. Not sure exactly when it stopped working but it hasnt worked in a good week now. I haven't installed or uninstalled anything. Havent even changed the config.

So all you did was install GD2 and it resolved the issue? I have tried both Imagemagick and GD2 neither work any more.
