Different access levels to connections

I’m in a need of a possibility to set different access levels to with connection or not.
The idea is to keep the profiles basic information (for example contact tab) public to all registered users. This would include name, city and age for example. Then when mutual connection is enabled rest of the information would become viewable to both sides of the connection. That would be home address, phone number etc.
Is there any ready plug-in or something to do this? Is this kind of feature on todo list? Or what do I have to take into special consideration if I tweak CB myself?

You might find privacy policy (still in development, though) usefull.
