Hope this is the right place to post. I have recently upgraded to CB 1.2.2 and have noticed the following which may also have been present previously too.

I am using Joomla v1.5.15 , PHP 5.2.8 , Firefox 3.6.2.

I have a date field on my Contact Info tab which if not previously set or completing for the first time using the drop down fields rather than the date picker doesn't save the date value as shown. By this I mean if you select the day value from that drop down field and this happens to be a date you want to enter in January then as soon as a day between 1 - 31 is chosen then the month and year default to January and the present year. However, although all fields show a value e.g. 3 January 2010 this saves as 3 March 2010. If you click the date picker after having chosen a day, even though the month field is showing January the date picker thinks it's the current month.

Secondly, the info tips on each field do not show up in Firefox, but do work in IE.

Hope this can be fixed, please let me know if you require any further details.

I'm on a Linux shared host running Apache 2.2.11

Joomla 1.5.15 having upgraded from 1.5.14 using the Joomla Update Manager component (JUpdateMan v1.5.1).

CB 1.2.2 upgraded from CB 1.2.1 by installing new version over top of old using the Joomla Install Extension as per CB readme upgrade instructions.

SEF component, SEF Service Map by Radoslaw Kubera v2.0.11.

I use CB to collect some additional info during registration that wasn't supported in the native Joomla user registration form. Therefore I'm just using the Contact Info tab part of CB. In addition to this I use a newsletter component from foobla, PHPList integration (latest v.1.5.2.1). This allows any active newsletters that have been set up in PHPList to be present as check boxes on the CB registration form. It also sync's whatever CB fields that are chosen in the foobla component to sync with the corresponding fields in PHPList.

I have tried unpublishing the 'Foobla PHPList CB plugin' from the CB Plugin Manager but this had no effect on the date field issue described.

I have also now tested this in IE and found it to be doing the same with the date field.

So, if you have a date field on the Contact Info tab, with these settings...

*the word blank is not entered, only used to show an empty value present.

Day, Month & Year are showing blank when registration page is rendered. You select a day from 1 - 31 and the Month & Year then default to January & Current Year. Now if you complete registration the date is saved as whatever day you chose plus the current month and current year rather than the month which defaulted to January.

Yes I agree, I have no problem with it defaulting to January & Current Year when a day is selected. However if it does this then it should be reflected in the variable that is storing this. By that I mean if you then click the calendar icon you can see that it is Current Month and Current Year (not January as shown) and has only taken notice of the day that was selected. Providing the user needs to select a date other than January then it would correct itself but if you want to enter a date in January and it defaults to January when selecting a day then you wouldn't have cause to think that you need to reselect the month for it to take note of it rather than the Current Month which is happening at present.

Any ideas on the screen tips that don't work in Firefox?
