hey all,
I have created a simple plugin that shows the starsign selected in dropdown list by the user.I got this idea from the excelent plugin that Trail made, but because I needed something really simple and I did not need the matchmaking functionality i made one of my own. Instructions for my plugin:
- install using CB plugin installer
- Publish both plugin and the tab.
- Create a field dropdownlist(single entry) where your users can select their starsign.
- In the starsign tab you have to specify the name of the field you created in the above step (example: cb_starsign),and you also specify which names you used for each of the starsigns. This way, you can use whichever language you choose.
- Save your settigns and voila, your users can select their starsign and have a nice icon for it in their profile
This is my first plugin for Cb (hopefully, not the last). I want to thank Trail for being cool enought not to mind me making and releasing this plugin. Be sure to check his plugin, it has a lot more features!

i cant get it work!
i got this error
Starsigntab is missing the name of the DropDown field where CommunityBuilder stores the Starsign data
the same with the gender what can i do?

Try going into the tab settings and saving them, make sure that the name of the field you created matches the fieldname (default = cb_starsign) you provide in the tab settings for starsign and also for gender. (i use that plugin also)
