well, it has been a long time since I first looked at Joomla, and here we go...
just launched social network:
http://KOVECHKA.com
Using:
Joomla 1.0.13
JA_Fagus template, slight changes
and then most exciting thing about it: Community Builder!
Loved the dark template for CB.
Its all open for browsing, so go ahead and check it out.
Besides the CB: Datsogallery, Seyret, MyBlog, Jom_comment, Fireboard.
Groupjive (which I think is too much for now, so I disabled it)
Your suggestions, comments, complaints )), are always welcome!

I really like it!  I've been looking for some nice CB integrations with Joomla, being new to both Joomla and CB, so this was refreshing!
I agree - the dark CB template fits perfectly...very professional looking and I don't mind the tabs like I used to with CB.
Are there any 'must have' CB extensions you like? I am looking for much of the same...top users, new users, videos, pictures, most viewed, etc, etc...

Its kinda too early to determine "must have" modules and extensions at this stage of the development, I hope it gets a little popular so we will be able to find whta we need what we dont need, based on users preferences.
speaking of modules, im using:
"Seyret All In One Module" (videos)
Module that comes with Datsogallery
"CB superthumb" (users)
"myBlog" modules
So... forum, pics and myblog would be enough to begin with. i think
