Hi,
I have been using Fireboard 1.04 with CB 1.1
Now it seems CB takes the step to Joomla 1.5, the development of Fireboard is stuck.
Is there any other forum you could recommend? Should be one that integrates with CB 1.2

In my opinion if you want a fully integrated forum FB is still the best/only option.
If you want a good forum you can go with phpbb3 or VBulletin there are bridges for both 1.0x and 1.5x
