I am new to CB so please take that into account when you reply. My installation of CB 1.0.1 went fine everything was working. Then I decided I wanted to customize it a little. I navigated to the Community Builder -> List Management menu. Then chose "Members List". Scrolling toward the bottom of the page I see that there are 4 columns that correspond to the what is seen by users when they List the members/users that have registered for CB. I see that Column 1 is Enabled and set to Name: Image and Captions: Thumbnail. Since I don't believe any of my users are ever going to use the image feature, I decide I should disable column 1 and remove the "Thumbnail" Caption and delete the Name "Image". I click save and when the page reloads the entire Field List (In the center of the page) that used to be populated with items you could choose to Add to any of the 4 colums is now empty. Nothing to choose at all. Re-enabling column 1 and adding a Name did not solve the problem. Now I have an empty column 1 Captions List AND an empty Field List. I searched the forums for about an hour here and didn't find a fix. Please Help

I am still at the point where I could wipe all CB data and re-install if this will fix the issue. The only thing I am worried about is that the problem exists in the SQL database and if so what would I need to delete there to clean out CB altogether and start over?

If this is a CB bug maybe it can be moved to the bug forum and a fix developed for the next update

.

So please let me know if I shoudl delete/uninstall everything and delete anything from the SQL database.

Please delete the specific list from the CB List management backend and try to create a new one (mark it as default and published).

Then report bakc if you are still having problems.

Geez, the simple things that I didn't try...

Maybe I should try tackling these problems when my brain is fresh and not at 1AM...

Thanks for the advice, deleting the list and creating a new one did the trick. Now all the fields are refreshed with the choices available.

Is the deletion of the first column supposed to cause these kind of problems or is that a bug?

I had the same problem and did as nant said but I'm still having the same problem and now I'm even having a bigger problem: that list was the only list I had! now nothing at all but the columnames are displayed and I can't even just type in the right values in the database as I dont know what's suposed to be in the list tables col1fields colum.

Please help, this is very urgent!

ok I could at least find out how to manualy put back (or put in more) values to be displayed if someone has the same problems:

in the table comprofiler_lists either in the column col1fields (or col2fields etc. depending on which column you want the values to be in) enter the fieldid from comprofiler_fields that you whant to be displayed and in the order you want them displayed in seperated by |*|

example:
for displaying the avatar and after it the name in column 1 you'd enter 29|*|41 into col1fields
