I have tried to use google and tried to figure this part out bt I can't and any help would be greatly appreciated. I am almost done with my site and I need help. I absolutely cannot figure out how to do this part:
8) Add a new user menu item for the comprofiler component (this will be the users profile page). For this, go to menu -> user menu, click New, select component, then Community Builder (com_comprofiler), give a name and save.
I am fine up until here. I do not see an option from my Joomla 1.5 running in legacy mode to get to the comprofiler component. I can not see menu, user menu, to click new nad do the next steps. How do I find this? I have been looking but I cannot find it anywhere.
Exactly what do I click on (first to last step, or at least the first few). Please help me. Thanks.

Log into administrator. In the top menu, click on Menus, then User Menu. This is where you click on the NEW button. On the top menu bar I have these options:
* Site * Menus * Content * Components * Extensions * Tools * Help
When I click on Menus I get
Menu Manager Menu Trash
Main Menu*
When I click on Menu Manager I get one option "Main Menu"
When I do click on that I only can edit that menu.
When I try to create a new menu called "User Menu" (because that is all I can think to do) it does not give me those options such as "click New, select component, then Community Builder (com_comprofiler), give a name and save"
I am running in "Legacy: 1.0"
I do not know what to do?
Please help.

You can put it in the main menu if you want... or create a new 'user menu' in the Module Manager with parameters set to be viewable only by registered members.
