I am building a website where people have to register with the serial number they got when they bought a product of my store...
In fact,it is a sort of online product registration (because they are already register before buying products ) witch permit them to upgrade their membership and access to more advanced benefits.
I know I need a database created to store product serial numbers. Users log onto the site and register, they insert their product serial number and it cross references the database to make sure it is right. Once the serial number has been approved, the user is allowed to access a resrticted page, where they will be able to download product updates for example...

Somebody have any idea ?
