Joomla 1.5.X does not play nice with CB 1.1.

Your options:

wait for CB 1.2 stable to be released.

or

subscriber to documentation service to get detailed documentation and be able to download CB 1.2 release candidate (currently at RC2).

I am getting the same error using 1.5.3 and 1.5.6 with RC2. I've tried changing permissions on the tmp directory, etc. but no difference. Anyone have any other ideas? I also really need to get this installed.

Please post this issue in the CB 1.2 RC2 area.
Check first in the known issues section of that forum area.

Include as much details as possible.
Give versions, detailed settings, messages received, etc.
