Installation Error!! Can you help please?

Been trying to get help with this for absolutely ages now.. and I have posted an image of the problem which I am getting on another topic..
Basically when I install CB on joomla 1.5 I get the following error...

Now, I know that Joomla 1.5 doesnt work well with CB1.1, so tell me now please (apart from that I already know)... is this fixable or not?
If its not then I simply won't bother trying!
I have joomla on legacy mode so I know that isn't the problem. Thanks
If it is fixable, please can someone tell me how it can be resolved?
I would buy 1.2RC but if I cant even get help with trying to install this, I defintely don't want to be spending my money if there is no customer service..

Looks to me like a permissions issue... need to set the directories in question to writable.

Thanks for your reply, it still doesnt work when I set permissions to folders images, administrator, components.
Maybe this is the directory that needs changed
/misc/33/377/802/170/2/user/web/modeldream.co.uk/
Where is this? I can only change these permissions on filezilla.. /modeldream.co.uk/example
What about the /misc/33/377 directory? Will this be somewhere else? x

I'm not sure what kind of server you're on... never saw that directory setup before. I'd search the forums of whoever is hosting your site to find out.
If you haven't already, enable FTP access in Joomla Global configuration and see if that helps. Someone with a similar problem said that solved it for them.
