I'm getting a similar problem. I am running a fresh install of Joomla 1.0.1.5 and CB 1.1. The redirect is taking me to component/option,com_comprofiler/task,registers/ when I try to register and to component/option,com_comprofiler/task,login/ when I try to log in. Any ideas?

I take it that this is for both 1.5 and 1.0.15 of Joomla?
I'm having the same issue. It seems that this is something that would bring a lot of sites to stand-still, no?
I'm running Joomla 1.0.15 and CB 1.1.
Considering it's been more than just a few weeks, I'm guessing that this fix must be more intensive than originally thought?

i have same problem. don't know how to fix this. This is a very important component, since how can we make a community if each users can't login.

I fixed mine by activating the login/logout popup message.
