I have CB1.1 and have enabled AJAX username checker. Is there a way to actually prevent submission of the registration page if my ajax user checker reports that the user already exists?

Please help!!

PS- I am providing registration thru Cb1.1 and I have AEC Subscription also installed. I get a 'Page has expired' if someone is trying to provide a username that already exists.
