i have a custom field in my cb profile: birthdays (cb is set to capture the date)

then i have a list defined which simply lists all of my members and lists their birthdays, and sorts by date ascending.

trouble is, it sorts by year-month-day, which i suppose makes sense in one context, but not in another.

i've got:

bob - january 1 1970
larry - july 1 1965

but larry is listed before bob since his birth year comes first. what i need is a month-day sorting of birthdays, irrespective of year.

any way to make cb do this?

You could try to make your own 'date list' and have it in tree parts; day-list, month-list and a year list. Now you make a new filter for your birthday list and sort it by month and day.

I need help with this...I'm trying to do the same...create a birthday list for each month and show all the birthdays within that month. I want this list ordered by day not year.

Example if I click on the May list it will show me all birthday in May as
May 1 whatever year
May 2 whatever year
May 3 etc

Not like
May 21 1975
May 1 1976
May 10 1977

Can you help me on the filter to use to achieve these results.
