CB vs Joomla login issues

I feel like such a whiner, but...

Every time I try using CB (specifically th CB login over the default one) with the Joomla I have terrible problems afterwards.
I turned on CB Login in the back-end and now I can't login as admin. When I attempt to log in as admin. the ID and password are not
rejected, they simply are not accepted. I'm never directed to the main administrative page.

In a nut shell nothing happens at admin login.
What's up with Community Builder and the new Joomla?
