Language does not change to german in Joomla 1.5

I installed CB 1.1 and the german language files (f+i) in Joomla 1.5 Stable, but the language doesn't change to german (Default). I also tried to overwrite the default-language folder like described in this forum but it didn't worked right (strange parameter-names in regsitration and everywhere else).

What is going wrong??? Please help!

so am I with a fresh Joomla 1.5.1 install.

Any solutions yet ?

I've tried almost what I can do but failed.

Now I used a so poor way to slove it.

Just raname your german.php to default_language.php

then replace the default_language.php file in components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/

It works but so bad way

I tried to modify the php code of english.php but it does not work

Hi

für Joomla 1.013 + CB1.1 das language download "German language pack 1.01" runterladen und nicht "German Formal..."
dann (ohne Gewähr) im Plugin Manager default language english auf order -1 setzen und German auf z.b. 99.
Funktioniert bestens bei mir.

Have the same problem
I'v installed Joomla 1.0.15de and CB1.1 with cb_1.0.1_german but no tips in this forum will work... i think the last way is to hardcode the default_language
