Hi,
I placed a feature request on ninjoomla.com page for a new feature which would be great addon for CB based community sites.
there is no userbrowsing component for CB like in other communitytools - like boonex dolphin as example
I think this would be a great value for CB and Joomla
if you are member of ninjoomla please vote for this request - if we have enough votings they will start to think about a solution for this

It´s another way to present userlists - CB userlists in 1.2 are much more better - but not complete for a socialnetwork driven site
important is better layout with shortlinks to contact other communitymembers....

CB lists allow you to have those "short-links", so i still don't understand your request.

ok - would be great if you can explain me how I can
- link on userlist to make guestbook entry
- link on userlist to send a message with pms
- link on userlist to see members gallery(nants gallery)
- link on userlist to call any CB plugin which could be created in future, like poke or privatchatwindow
search function on userlist is fine, much more better - but little bit confusing for people who have no experience on CB sites...
maybe a little modul with easy navigation could help

You can have fields delimiter type of fields with HTML as you like in them.
A given tab can be shown as:
index.php?option=com_comprofiler&user=[user_id]&tab=XYZ
where XYZ can be:
- plugin-class of the tab (prefered)
- id of the tab
- title of the tab (urlencoded)
other possibilities:
index.php?option=com_yourpmsComponent&userid=[user_id]
index.php?option=com_yourpmsComponent&username=[username]
or e.g.:
aim://[cb_aimid]
you can have images and other html, and substitution will occur in lists as well.
The above refers to CB 1.2 RC 2, doesn't work in CB 1.1, as field delimiters in users-lists didn't substitute.
Hope the above helps, although probably not as user-friendly to configure as you would wish, it should be settable to be as user-friendly to use as you wish.
