Hello Beat:
Well, today (May 3) is the 33rd of April 2006... and I'm still waiting...
But I'll be patient. I'm pretty confident this is going to be good stuff. Keep up the good work.
---- whoops - sorry! I missed the earlier post putting the release date at April 34, 2006. That sounds terrific!

Does the CB 1.0 Build6 update and bug research, means that the CB1.0 public release will be delayed again ?

CB 1.0 public release will hopefully not be delayed very much, but this depends on test-results, as lots of final tests are going on in testteam on production sites as i write here.
So far, only few, should-be-easy to fix bugs have been found by testteam. It's now a matter of hours to fix and test those. I can't guarantee the time on the countdown. It's only indicative and will be kept up to date in regards to ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival). So it might jump back and maybe forth.
But we need to make sure our test coverage is as large as manageable, meaning that the "only few bugs found" really means this.
That's why we are asking your contribution to test here also.
Looking forward to see this thread fill up with "i tested for x hours and all seems fine "....
At least, it will keep those of you waiting desperately busy in the final wait Beat - Developer on Community Builder core Team - If you like CB and this forum, you will love Nick's CB 1.1 reference manual ! : Click here to Get it now - Would like to help us move faster ? I don't mean to sound ungrateful in any way but I am reminded of a quote I heard in a comp sci class. Can't remember who said it but it goes something like this "All software has bugs. I write software. Therefore I write bugs."
Anyway, while I am anxiously waiting for CB 1 stable I hope you guys are having fun with it all.
