CB Integration with PHPBB Not working

Hi,
I recently installed CB on my site. I have PHPBB on my site, so I installed the PHPBB Connector Plugin.
I don't receive errors per se, but I don't think that things are functioning correctly. (And YES I did read the PDF instructions fully). After putting on the PHPBB Connector Plugin, Im not clear on how the CB Profile and the PHPBB Profile integrate..?
I had thought that with the PHPBB Plugin that it would integrate PHPBB with Joomla, but at the present time they both seem to still function independently of each other (for example, if I go to my forum, sign in there and then click onto my main site...it makes me login again.
What I wanted my site to be, is something more like Joomlapolis. Where the forum is fully integrated with the Joomla (and There is only one user Profile/User Menu).

You could use joomlaboard forum component. That one is fully integrated with CB , several pms programs and joomla.
If you really want PHPBB I can't help you further I've never used it.

Lets start by letting me know what you have done so far...
Sounds like
1) Joomla installed
2) phpBB installed (in same DB and website?)
3) Each work seperately
4) CB Installed and using CB Login not Joomla Login
5) phpBB Connector installed
6) Plugin parameters set correctly so connector can find forum
Have you imported/exported or created new users since installing the connector?

You are right, so far I have
-Joomla installed
-PHPBB installed
-Each Work Separately
-CB Installed and using CB Login
-PhpBB Connector Installed
-Plugin Parameters set correctly (I think)
-I have successfully sync'd all of my users using the PHPBB Connector.

everything you stated in the last post looks good... so I reread your original post...
I think I see what you are asking now:
1) CB Profile and phpBB Profile Merged? - Answesr Currently the profiles of each remain seperate. It is a future feature request to allow the modification of your phpBB profile items from within the CB Profile... Just not there yet...
2) Logged into Forum but not CB issue? - Answer since this plugin does not hack phpBB in anyway, anything down in phpBB remains seperate (except for posts, etc. which are read by the connector). To get the integration you need to login to CB/Joomla then it will log you into phpBB... but the opposite is not true since again there is no hack put into phpBB.
Note: 1.0.2 as ZIPPED contains a bug with regards to "remember me" logins... download the patch from the developer.joomla.org forge repository under phpbb connector.
