Feature Request : Picture in profile

As suggested :
It could be a good feature if the users could put only a link to an external website (as imageshack.us or other) for them picture in the profile instead of uploading it or choosing in the default gallery.
All forumboard propose this feature by default !!
Main avantage:
The size limit will be removed (done by the hosting)
No webspace "wasted" by 100 of users pictures
Less bandwidth used on your account. (sorry I have to pay for my bandwidth  )

Answers to your disavantage :
You can control the size of the picture directly from your side

The picture is supposed to represent you . If you would like to show you to the rest of the world with a XXX picture, it's your problem not mine. 
If it's a problem for you , you can always ask politely to the user to change is picture and in the worst case ban him ...

It could be a nice feature but if they change the picture after it's moderated then you will have a problem. For you it isn't such a big problem when there are XXX photos on profiles. But I know enough sites where it is a problem.

Hi
I just wonder how all forum who allow this , deal with this "potential" risk 
May be they assume by default that the user is respectable and will not do that
I admistrate forums and sites since a long time, before comming to Joomla, and I never face this kind of problem ... and this feature was always enabled (for the reason I explain .. save the bandwidth of the site ...)
The fact is that I use SMF as Forumboard on my site, and users can use link to them avatar to counter the limitation(s) of size (in SMF). So in any case, they already do it in the board ... I just want to allow them to do it in ALL the site and if possible with the same picture .

Disadvantages still hold true.
If the original photo on the link is huge the profile page will take a long time to load.
And this would basically ruin the moderation aspect since you never know when the original photo changes since the link could stay the same.
