This thread discusses the Content article: New Tabs and Fields won't show up in old profiles.

Slightly off topic but still relevant to TABS...

How can I get a custom Tab to show? I have a tab called "Interests" containing multiple check boxes and can't for the life of me get it to show. Bit ot a newbie I'm afraid and would be most grateful for some "simple" help. (Have worked through the "Creative Tab" Example by Nick A in the "Hints and Tips" and I understand that as it only has one field, multiple fields stumps me.)

Hi,
I think you just have to login and and update new tab(and fields)on old profile:
worked for me ( I'm in development phase so I have fake profiles.
Maybe there is an automatic way but

Thanks kujee... I've done that and it still won't show. I came across another post that highlighted tabs will only show if fields have been filled in but I still can't make the tab with the check boxes show

If new tabs and fields are added after any users have already been created... the new fields should be available to existing users to update the next time hey check CB Details.
