Exact same problem here - I am running 1.08 Joomla with a brand new install of CBrc2. Everything installs properly, I've tried the "<?php" fix recommended in the admin file; and yet, after logging in - CB is trying to link to URL:
http://www.2ucasino.com/component/option,com_comprofiler/task,login/
with the following resulting error:
The page cannot be found

I'm having the same problem.
I checked my global config (server tab) and there was no trailing slash.
What else could be causing the 404 error?

I'm actually getting the same thing, installation is smooth, everything seems to be working, configure everything as per the installation notes under documentation under the downloads area, and when I go to my front end, try to log in, I get a 404. Also, I end up with ALL of my links broken. Regardless of what I do nothing now works. Remove all modules, everything works fine....
Any ideas?

I am having the same problem as well and can't find a solution through searching.
I am running cb 1.0.1 stable and when I try to login via the cb login I am taken to a 404 error page:
The requested URL /component/option,com_comprofiler/task,login/ was not found on this server.
All the other logins (default and SMF bridge login are unpublished)
I am running Joomla 1.0.11 and SMF 1.1.rc3 and SMF bridge 1.1.6
I have rechecked my install and it all seems good and I tried unistalling SMF Bridge but the problem is still there.
I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas and if you need more info from me please ask.
