When i either try to register or login a user to my site using the CB_Login Registration form, the following error is chucked out.

SQL errorDB function failed with error number 1146
Table 'mydatabase.users' doesn't exist SQL=UPDATE users SET user_avatar_type='0', user_avatar='' WHERE user_id=''
SQL =
UPDATE users SET user_avatar_type='0', user_avatar='' WHERE user_id=''

Im using the following pieces of server-ware.

Joomla - 1.0.10 Stable Sundown
CB - 1.0
phpbbconnector - 1.0.2
phpBB - 2.0.21

any help would be much appreciated Jon Hurlock.

From this error it looks like your forum directory is not set correctly. Make sure that the "forum directory" parameter points to the directory that the phpBB forum is installed. this is based on the server variable "DOUCMENT_ROOT" which should be the root directory of your website. Make sure there is no preceeding or trailing / on the parameter...

i.e. the default is "forum" which equals http://www.yoursite.com/forum

Hope this helps,

First off the 2 year old post you added onto was for "phpbb connector" and you are using "CB connector" which is the new version of the older phpbb connector.

If you notice half way down on the right side it tells you what the issue is...

Just under "Directory for the Forum"
"Directory is NOT set correct"

This must be set correctly for the CB Connector to find the forum... NOTE after you set that correctly you will want to use the "Plugin Control Panel" (down farther in that same screen) to sync the users (i.e. export/import most likely)
