Zipcode - Radius Advanced CB Search

My company has created a zipcode-radius search for Mosets Tree and Hot Property (ex: search for listings within 25, 50, or 100 miles of zip code 30022). We are porting it to community builder for my wife's social site. It is currently a single shot installation and has to be installed by hand. On the upside we do have public domain postal code databases for the U.S., Canada, Mexico and some European countries.
I am posting this to gauge the interest in the CB community in this component. If there is enough we will convert it to a full advanced search component so anyone running CB could install it easily.
Basically without having to make members' zipcodes public, a user could search for members within x miles of a zipcode they enter.
If you are interested, drop me a note or post here with any ideas/suggestions you have. If we do it we will need beta testers.

I'm very interested. I would also be interested in using the code to integrate a zipcode search for GigCalendar.

We are putting together a formal list of free postal codes/countries that I will post shortly.
The postal code table contains three columns.
Postal Code, Latitude, Longitude
The latitude and longitude represent the center of the postal code. Many countries have this data available. Some charge for it. We are trying to put together a free collection to cover most of the world.
For those with money to spend, we can integrate the following commercial postal code databases once they are purchased (most cost over 500 euros per country):

I would love to see this type of geographic search capability. I think it's necessary for any social network.
