OK.

I have put together a basic 'hello-world' plugin that demonstrates some of the many CB API related functions.
I have sent it to Beat to review and once I get the green light I will post an article with the plugin.

I still believe that the best way to continue is to just study the many core plugins and add-on plugins in the download section. Its a tedious task but if you really want to learn you must invest.

I started going through the API docs but I'm getting ready to deploy so it all got put on hold until I get to the combat zone.
