I thought i'd make a small Christ Mas present, now i need fearless ppl to test this BETA version before its official release.
I wanted to see the age of a user so i created this plugin that displays the users age on the user status menu.
I've attached an image to show the dutch version.
This is the first pre-beta version and has not yet been officially approved by CB team as safe or stable. This is by any means no official release eventhough 'i work here'.
If you blow up your website do not complain to me because I take no responsibility for anyone installing/using this beta plugin. 
Instructions for the fearless:
1) After you made your backups, install this plugin at your own risk on a test site using CB's PLUGIN manager.
2) Find the EXACT name of your DATE field, look for the 'name' of your DATE field in CB's FIELD manager. Look at the image below these instructions to see where to find it.
3) Now goto TAB manager, enter the name of your birthday DATE field.
4) For non english users only: enter your local translation for AGE in TAB manager.
5) Finaly, publish the plugin at PLUGIN manager.
Expected behaviour:
1) If you have no DATEfieldname set in your backend at all (default) you will get a nice red error message.
2) If you have a erronous DATE fieldname in backend, nothing is displayed and you might not get any error at all, depending on your error reporting.
3) On a profile of a user without DATE info, nothing is displayed.
4) On a profile of a user with an age below 5, nothing is displayed. (on my site, some users dont understand the calender YEAR and fill in the month and day, but leave year on 2005..)
If you do not have a birthday DATE field, then you have no use for this plugin.

Just installed it and tried to break it. It's working like a dream...rock solid!
Picked up my existing DOB field and it updates in the profile without any trouble (although it'd be a rare occasion for one to change his/her 'leeftijd'). Thanks, Trail!

thanks for having the balls to test it lol
now im gonna try to get that beloved CB offical stamp of approval on it so i can offically release it in the download section
P.S. I invite ANYONE to step over that threshold and actually TRY to make a plugin.. i have been waiting like 2 months coz it seemed such a MOUNTAIN to start learning how that API stuff actually works..
Ofcourse i've cut some corners and i didnt actually read any doc (sorry beat) as i graduated from the cut and paste society.. anyway i took several plugins and looked for anything they did that i needed and came up with the most basic version of a plugin to date.. this age thingy..
So if you are just looking to output some data on a tab.. rip open my plugin and maybe several others and just take a look..
I started by ripping out all data and doing an 'echo "test";'... well that didnt work.. turned out i had to do output inside a class.. well after a few attempts i 'just' got my data where i wanted it.. cut and paste this was.. anyone can do it...
So i invate anyone.. rip open this plugin and make your own content plugin!! If i can do it, you can too

Just I get a strange behaviour: date that were not filled result in '0000-00-00' into database fields, so the plugin shows AGE=2005 for that values. Date should maybe be set as null?
