Hire a developer?!

Okay, at first, i want to make this clear. I am not trying to lower down from the developer's effort and skills. The thing is I need to have such a component ready soon. So i thought i would hire a developer for that.
I created a new project on joomlancers for this:

It came up to my mind, if others are interested as well, we can split the cost of hiring a developer. Get the project done, and then publish the new component on groupjive.org and send it to the great developers of groupjive. This way, I will get it done quickly and launch it on my site (since i reallllly need it). Also, everyone will benefit from it.
I am ready to pay 300$ for this. I hope others would like to join me and pay also. Developers were asking for more. Some for 1500$. Please msg me if you are interested and post here (state how much you are willing to pay). I will then increase the max bid on joomlancers.
Again, I really appreciate the work of the developers. It's just that I needed to be done soon, and I understand that the developers don't have much time now (neither do I)

i can't seem to get a developer to work on it.. i found one, then i never heard from him...
if any developer ready to do, then contact me.

i dont think it should be hard.
money-wise, we can find a way. not a problem.
i talked with a developer who later on disappeared...
