Any new on the CB Paid Subscriptions Plugin ...
I was just checking in and i have not seen any update since may from Beat...
Getting anxious... and i know its almost July,i know its late June.... "ish....

Just a hunch... I imagine the new stance by the Joomla core team concerning the legalities of commercial addons has something to do with the delay.
I really hope this doesn't mean this plugin will never be reality

It is correct that making our own due diligence on the subject has taken us quite some time. We have come to a conclusion that it's really "business as usual" for CB and the commercial paid subscriptions plugin.
But we are back at working to finish it up, and release the first beta releases soon.

man, i need this badly...
Actually, the debate around licensing has frozen no less than the 3 extensions i need like air to breathe.... Simply frustrating.
I respect the core dev team position and even agree with it to a certain extent.. though, like many others in the community, i do not regard 3rd party extensions as Joomla derivatives but merely as Joomla "dependables".
Puritanism is unaware of day to day affairs, that's my conclusion as a web "deployer".
Bring that baby on as soon as possible!
