i am in the midst of the change over from joomlaboard to phpBB.

Questions; If i remove the log in box from the phpBB how can i administer the forum? My administration level from cb does not seem to integrate with phpbb

well.. i worked around this problem..

just made a new profile for myself in cb and changed that user to admin in phpBB and then erased the log in on the phpBB

maybe it's me.

I went through the install procedure. several issues:

1. I can still browse to:

profile.php?mode=register manually

all links are gone, but the address is there. Spambots will use it as much as before.

2. now for anyone with a heavily modded forum.. or a lightly modded, the idea of having to overwrite these modded files is not a good one.
Could you not create an install.txt file, like so many mods for phpbb2 have.
you know the ones: find on line 92, blablabla

so far, I'm really liking the phpconnector compared to mehdi's joombridge

I have this running.

When I click on profile in phpbb, i get a redirect to:

http://duo/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=74


any idea?

I think you found the right spot... the inc_cbconnector.php file contains some constants... one is for your site URL...
