hi,
i have been searching all day here and at joomla.org on this item and have found many many hints but no real answers.
i am runnning cb 1.02 on a large joomla install - i have had no issues to date with cb but i suspect this one has been around a while as i have just now started to promote profiles and thus their updating.
when you try to update your profile - it just doesn't save.
you do not lose any info - as in some posts i have seen - it just doesnt save anything to the db.
i have trouble shooted against, plugs, tabs, fields, db issues, editors, mambots and more and just cannot figure it out.
please - any help or ideas would be appreciated.
thanks,
jonathan

No error messages ?
No more indications ?
Kind of hard to guess....
Turn site debug on in backend to view error messages, or check server error logs...
What happens when you press update ?
What exact PHP version do you use ? yeah - sorry.
server error logs just show css errors;joomla bugs just show warnings and sql queries; i did turn on my mozilla bug tracker and saw this:
Error: Expected ':' but found 'undefined'. Declaration dropped. Source File: http://www.godekalb.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&Itemid=118 Line: 0
Error: Expected ':' but found ';'. Declaration dropped. Source File: http://www.godekalb.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&Itemid=118 Line: 0
php version 4.4.6
i don't have any other issues, just this one - so frustrating

hi,
i have worked all day on this and even got Mike at http://mike.simbunch.com/ to help.
i have purged cb of plugins, removed db tables that were abandoned from old uninstalls of components and more.
eventually i uninstalled the cb component thru joomla admin with apparently no problem until i reinstalled it and the entire site went down with the dreaded "error: language file cannot be loaded"
ended up restoring a backup. anyway back to where i started but with a cleaned up system now.
anyway - i still need this to work obviously. any chance at getting you to take a look at it again? or give me some new ideas?
thanks,
jonathan
