How to integrate with Joomlaboard?

Hi,

I am just getting my feet wet with CB, and trying to build a small community site for an art group in Denmark. And at the same time trying to learn as much as possible about CB and all other comps and modules that might be nice to use together with it.

Somewhere I read that Joomlaboard should be possible to integrate with UDDE Im. Was I dreaming or is it actually possible? If so, how?

Maybe this should be a sticky...
Regards,

Oceanwatcher

From Joomlaboard 1.2 onwards, uddeIM is natively supported and just needs to be selected in the Joomlaboard administration.

For uddeIM integration with Joomlaboard 1.1, see here

I have been to Tsmf.net and can not find any version 1.2 yet. So what you are saying is that it is not supported right now, but will be from version 1.2? Or did I totally overlook a release? Would LOVE to have it integrated with Joomlaboard too!

This messaging system really works and I enjoy using it. Good work!!

Actually I think what Benjamin meant to say, and I am sure he will correct me if I am wrong, is 1.1.2 and that can be found at the project home page at:

No, I was indeed referring to Joomlaboard 1.2, not 1.1.2. This is the version currently in development and it will natively support uddeIM - or so I'm told by its developers.

All prior versions have to use the hack that was described in the link above.

Benjamin,

Thanks for the correction. Had not seen any info on 1.2 so glad to see that there is something happening with JoomlaBoard. I love the intigration of this board but it seems to lack a lot of things that many other boards have. Hope this is not just a simple security patch, would like to see some real improvements. I don't suppose you have any links to where we might see some info on this release?

Take care,
Rick
