Ok, making this a sticky for Joomla 1.0.13:

- if you can't login in frontend using CB login module:

most probably you "customized" joomla, and didn't upgrade original file:

includes/version.php with joomla !

Joomla 1.0.13's API for login() changed ! CB's only way to know what to do is to check joomla version, which comes from there.

- if sessions are unstable in backend:

Apply the official Joomla 1.0.13 fix. Download from here.
