on my two "profiles" as superadmin i cant seem to change... there is no textarea box w/list like with my other registered users. i would like to leave my administrator account as is, but change a personal profile i had set up to a admin rather than superadmin so i can leave my admin profile off the userlist.


hmmm, maybe i will look at that list field page and see if i can exempt the admin account as a workaround, but i would still like to know why i cant change the group access level for it.

Yeah, this option is disabled by design on all "Superadministrator" level accounts. Only workaround I have found so far is to manualy edit related user values directly in the database. You gotta lover the security level at least 1 step down (to "Administrator") before you will be able to select level via admin back-end again.

Yup - thats the way joomla works.
You have to directly work with the database to get around this.
