Hi, I installed CB Connector successfully on my localhost server using Joomla 1.0.13, PHPbb 3.0.0 under XP SP2 and the ajax plugin installed.
I install the CB Connector plugin.
The first time I go into plugin to set the parameters, I cannot get it to accept the directory of the PHPbb even though the path is shown correctly on the screen. I set the other parameters and save.
I go back to the plugin control panel and click on the CB Connect line and the screen goes to a screen the is plain white with the info below on it and no navigation. If I global checkin, and go the plugin again, I get the same screen as below.
What can I do to get by this problem?
Thanks, vachatterus

Couple of questions based on what you posted...
1) Have you published the xajax plugin? 2) Is it the xajax plugin from this site? 3) Depending on which plugin you are set to use it looks for different files. phpbb2 looks for extension.inc, common.php, and config.php... phpbb3 looks for common.php and config.php... if they are in the directory that the plugin shows it should show the forum directory as OK...
What version of Joomla, Community Builder, php, and MySQL are you using?

Hi Greg,
1) Have you published the xajax plugin?
yes
2) Is it the xajax plugin from this site?
yes 3) Depending on which plugin you are set to use it looks for different files. phpbb2 looks for extension.inc, common.php, and config.php... phpbb3 looks for common.php and config.php... if they are in the directory that the plugin shows it should show the forum directory as OK...
they are all present in the directory
What version of Joomla, Community Builder, php, and MySQL are you using?
CB_Connector_v2_0_0_Beta_2
xajax4joomla.plugin.beta2
MYSQL 5.0.45-community-nt
Additional Findings:
I discovered that when I tell it I have PHPbb 2, I can get back in to set options but it never finds the directory.
When I select PHPbb3 it will go crazy immediately.
Also, I installed xajax4joomla.plugin.beta2.zip as a regular mambot in Joomla.
Thanks for your help,
Gordon Sutton

Apache or IIS server?
if IIS server make sure that the php.ini file is not in the plug_cbconnector directory... I had a zip where I had it included originally... can't remember which one though...
If you have the php.ini file in that directory and on IIS server then either delete the file or rename it...

Any MODS applied to phpbb3 or any modules, etc. loaded in the admin side of Joomla?
Seems like something must be interferring...
Are you using Firefox? Do you have firebug installed? If so, is it showing any errors?
