Is there any sort of time frame for CB to become native in joomla 1.5
I am looking to subscribe but not untill I have a native program to run in Joomla 1.5.
Any estimated time frame would help as I am eager to try this fantstic software for joomla.

Again and again.......the term "legacy mode" is missleading.
Turning legacy plugin "on" doesn't remove anything from the native joomla 1.5 interface and will not slow it down noticabely either.
It's *not* a "mode", it's an option.
So you don't have to wait to deploy CB in Joomla 1.5.
upcoming CB 1.2 will for stability reasons still use the 1.0 API, requiring 1.5 installs to turn the legacy option to "on", without any prejudice to native extensions or joomla 1.5.
The major release after CB 1.2 will be able to run in 1.0 and in 1.5 and in Mambo 4.6+ natively.
I don't want to speculate on release dates, so will just say most probably in the months to come.

I agree too about what both of you say. I will also wait for a native version though before signing up.
But the truth is that legacy slowing down your site especially if you have a lot of extension and its only one that need legacy - CB.
If you go to Joomlaperformance.com by Anthony Ferrara one of Joomlas core dev and test your site with his QueryCache(nightly builds only work in native)with and without legacy you can judge your self.
Anthony not doing and more QueryCache versions for legacy any more too.

1.2 doesn't need legacy anymore unless you use other extensions that do.

If not found, post Joomla, CB, PHP, Database and Browser versions, along with the exact error you are getting and results. Fewer posts for the developers to sift through will result in faster releases!
If you're looking for CB plugins, try the Downloads section, Directory (new) section or Joomla Community Builder-specific extensions.
