attend events / CB field association

I am using the attendevents to register users for events. however, the component's CB integration isn't working.

Now, in the registration for event form, I wanted to use the "Associated Community Builder Field" functionality but this is not associating with the CB field.

Two approaches I tried:

1. select box in CB, indicating how definite it is they are giong to the event AND a select box in the event associated with that event (added the same options)

2. text field in CB. then the select box in events associated with this field so that it gets "populated" when user registers for event.

anyone use this feature successfully

i am using attend events build 8 (0,8,0) and CB RC2

the rest works fantastic.

any help is greatly appreciated.
