We are going to make our website multilingual. Unfortunately the documentation we have downloaded is quite poor regarding this thematc.

Where to find the basics about the multi language istallation, e.g. planing tipps, strategies etc.

Assuming you are using Joomla, you would need Joomlafish.

There are a number of forum threads discussing similar issues.

I have done this on my site using Joomlafish and language strings.
