can not login as admin

I am having trouble logging in as admin on my phpbb3. I am not sure if my site was hacked or it was because of the plugin (I created the admin a long time ago, and therefore it should not have anything to do with the plugin). After I asked the forum to send me a new password, again I could not login (wrong password) after a day.

Is your phpbb admin sync'd to a joomla user?

Then (assuming CB Connector is enabled)

If so log in thru Joomla, update your password then login to the forum using that username and password.

forgot password thru Joomla should do the same...

no, i did not sync. my phpbb admin user is admin (I created when i set up phpbb3). but now after I disabled the plugin, i was able to log in phpbb3 without getting a new password.

Makes no sense to me... as the CB Connector has no MODS to phpbb... so coming from phpbb itself it would never load CB Connector. CB Connector only loads if Joomla/CB is loaded.

None the less, glad it is working now.
