I've joined the ranks of a subscriber. I have yet to install 1.2 anywhere because all my sites are production ones and I'd need to set up a dev again to test.
Can anyone tell me because I didn't see it in the feature list, if profiles will be able to be set as private by the individual users?
CB WISHLIST
1. Contextual (member type) registration fields (business, personal, artist etc).
2. Photo gallery style search results (like myspace)
3. Comments on profile gallery photos.
4. Auto resize profile images in backend.
5. Customizable user web pages (see tagworld)
6. Images in CB fields/tabs.

When will the 1.2 stable release be out?
I want to use CB on my Joomla 1.5 install.
The posts on this website say "in a week or two" but these are from months ago.

Sorry, stopped giving estimates. It's ready when it's ready. Subscribe to homepage RSS feed, or better to the Aristotele newsletter from your profile to get an email notification when it's released.
The above estimates were for CB 1.2 RC. And that's already here for our supporting doc subscribers.
Our current estimate is that CB 1.2 stable is in weeks, not months and not days.
If you are in a hurry or want a deterministic ETA: it's available now with 1.2 RC 2 (and a well-known short known issues list in the 1.2 sub-forum). CB 1.2 stable is only CB 1.2 RC 2 with fixes for the known issues. So there is no reason to wait eagerly to use it.
