Great! Please use the Latin-1 file from the package or when you want to do the translation from the scratch use english.php (Latin-1). I do the convertion into UTF-8.

Hi slabbi, thanks for your excellent work "uddeIM".I love it so much.
From version v1.1, I start to translate language files to simplified chinese language files.And just finished the translation of uddeIM 1.3 experimental version.
I'am glad to be a "offical translator" of uddeIM .Hope it can help.
Here is simplified chinese language file for V1.3 experimental package with some mistakes fixed.It also works for v1.2.

Please use
languagesenglish.php
and/or
languages.utf8english.php
from

You must not create an utf8 file because usually I convert all Latin-1 (or other codepages) automatically to utf8 (there are a few exceptions).
