I think phryll is right. First, I had to sign up on the website only to see the shop and be able to know how much SIMGallery costs. Then after I register, I find that it's so expensive! I got a little pissed.
Usually, people require registeration to download something free or to buy something, not to see price!!
Price is way off dude, I would have bought it today immediately if it was $15 or $20 ... I am sure you will make way much more money if you sell it cheap enough so everyone can afford it.

I say, ok for pay the component, but when you sale something you have to give all perfect, useful, easy and complete...
This not respect the users that buy CB 1.2 for build a community and they don't have all the tools, the gallery is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING in a community!!!
Before to ask to pay be sure the product is completed!!!
