Hi all. I'm watching this Joomla/CB Project since a few years. Unfortunately i've never seen a really really good looking CB Site. So do you know some?
Most are looking the same, similar to the standart template. same tabs and user menu everywhere the pages aren't looking monolithic. I asking myself why? There so much professional Templates and well designed Sites for Joomla. But no Communities? Is the Template System of CB bad or the Homepage Designers? I know that most CB Site are some one-man freetime projects. But anyway...

So please post some links if you know well designed Joomla sites using CB.

It depends on the site owner.

Personally default template is set for my profiles, but I allow the entire profile to be customized. So you'll see unique designs on my site, but no one can see it yet as it's not live... yet

Just really depends on how much work the developer puts into it. You can get some really really unique designs if the effort is put forward.

I know the profile comments (profilebook entries) are a little off. I edited the code to display the whole image (as images were getting cut off), but I am currently trying to figure out how to automatically re-size all posted images....

I agree. The base CB look and feel is 1980's and
needs a refresh.

We will attempt to hire a designer to have our
match our Corporate Identity.
