Hello,
i need an option that makes a newly registered user an Author. On my site all new users can be authors. Now i have to change the user rights to author by hand.
If a user is not an author and is submitting content via xtdratings the content does not show up in CB. When i make the user an author i can link the content to the user.

Not sure if this is available.
I have a question though. Do you have the xtdratings plugin for cb working? I have not been able to get it to work and the maker of the plugin says he's not going to be working on it for a while.

I just let my visitors publish content via xtdratings. If they are an author there published articles show up in CB. I dont't know if that what you mean?
If a visitor adds a rating to one of these articles the CB TAB for ratings stays empty. I only see the message: No product information was found (xrModeProductInfo)
So i don't think this one is working for me also.

Change tho following file:
/components/com_profiler/comprofiler.php
Look for the line:
$row->gid = $acl->get_group_id('Registered','ARO');
Change Registered in Author
