Redirect To Page Based On Login Info?

Is there a way to redirect a login to a specifically unique page based on where a user is from?

Example: If a user logs in and is from Detroit I would like them to be redirected to a page that contains news, info and other content about the Detroit Scene. Same thing if they were from say Portland, Oregon .. they get redirected to a page that has content etc. about the scene in Portland.


I really need something to do this badly ... be it a module, component, plugin, bot, or hack.

Suggestions?
