Suppress new user email ? was created by velocity
Hi,

In CB (1.0 RC2 & Joomla 1.0.5) configuration I have 'Require Admin Approval' set to No and 'Require Email Confirmation' also set to No. Despite this new users get a confirmation email and I need for this not to happen. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

This is not a bug.
The message sent is really a welcome message.
You should change the default wording in the configuration area (registration tab) to suite your workflow.

Hmmm, well if you have any ideas on how I could sabotage the code so that it can't send out the email then send them this way.

Here's work-around - or cheat. Set the email in Site > Global Configuaration to sendmail - the stick an 'X' in the path to sendmail.

Doubtless the server error log will grow, but for a short burst of manually entering users. Remove the 'X' when done.
