[#3330] Extra page in 2.5 shows 'missing notifications'

After installing version 2.5 the extra page in the backend shows 'missing notifications' for (some of ) my users.
Clicking 'Fix All' does not solve the problem
What to do ?

Hi,
what does it? Do you have this "Fix all" again after clicking it?
Or do you see nothing? => Because it's the setting for just existing users for notification=yes (this you can't see)

It does not seem to do anything.
If I leave the page and visit it again then it still displays the "Fix All" text.

I had this "Fix all" only the first time.
(I helped testing. As I understand, we had the problem, that existing users were getting automaticly "Dont'notify". So this is a possibility to set them to "Notify" for the first time. After only the users can choose.)

After clicking "Fix all", it never came back.

so I let it to Kyle to answer.

Please PM backend super administrator login credentials and will take a look. It simply checks if a user has a row in the notifications database and if they should have a row then adds them if they don't exist.

Was able to find the cause and installed a fixed version for you. This will very rarely happen. What happens is the user is active in a group, but they don't actually have access to that group. This can happen if you forced the user in and they're Registered, but the group is Author for example. This was exactly your case as you have the group set for "Manager" and the users that kept showing up were "Registered".

It'll now save regardless, but each notification has its own individual permission so it prevents them form receiving notifications they've no permission to receive.
