Change color in Coolness template

Hi everybody,

First of all a BIG thank you what you guys are setting up here and the immense work you put into this platform.

I need some help from you to make a wise decision for my new social network CB-site.

I really like the rounded style in the Coolness template, but I do not like the colors.

Is it possible to change the colors to blue and white, like in the MyCommunity template ?

If yes, then this would be definitely the template or my new community site :-)

Where are exactly all the modules placed in the MyCommunity template (how can I see an overview of the modules)?

Thank you very much in advance for your help

Hi Nick,
thank you very much for your prompt reply and the link for the template module positions.

So I can change colors, similar to the MyCommunity template, blue with white background, is that right ?

  • Can you please show me also the module positions for the MyCommunity template ?
[/b]

I am planing to set up a community for energy healers and hope to make this network very big :-)
Is it OK to start with the MyCommunity or Coolness template ?
Can this template handle everything I will need to handle a BIG community, I mean really big, like Facebook,Twitter...... ?

What template would you suggest ?
(I know this is a difficult to answer, but what template would you use if you would start a BIG network ?)

Would the Tachyon template be a better option ? (RocketTheme)

Thanks for your time you spend for me and have a nice day

The coolness and mycommunity templates are very light and fast.

Yes you can assign different color scheme to coolness from the template backend.

mycommunity positions here:
templates.joomlapolis.com/demo/mycommunity/j15/index.php?tp=1

Tachyon might look better or worse (its subjective) but it is much heavier.

Nick,
thank you very much for your prompt reply.
This I call VIP speed reply :-)

I think the MyCommunity template will be the best way to go.
I like a fast and light template.

Is there a way to test the color schemes for this two templates online before I buy one ?
This would be really great.
I like the rounded corners in the Coolness template, but I would like to have a blue theme.
Blue menus frames and white background.

So the Coolness template with the color scheme of the MyCommunity template :-)
Would that be possible ?

This are my last questions, I promise :-)

Thanks again for your time
Peter
