Invoice Text Insufficient

Invoice Text Insufficient was created by cpreston
I am a business to business site, and I have received complaints that the Invoice (AKA Payment Slip) is insufficient for payment.

If you compare it with an invoice from, say Quickbooks, for example, it is missing a number of key pieces of information, such as the name and address of the company. It says "For website:" but that is it.

Might I suggest that then entire text of the invoice be editable like the text of the subscription. This would be a major expansion of the current "Invoice Text" field which is one line and only applies to one part of the invoice (I believe).

For now I have hacked the english file to put my company name and address, but I'm wondering if you can do something better.

TIA

Agreed, we've a ticket in place to have this addressed with CBSubs 1.2. For the time being please use language strings to adjust the payment slip as necessary. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello,

one additional idea how other software handle this.

They have a possibilty to insert a background image for the invoice.

So you can scan your normal company-paper (with logo, header, footer) and make it as background.

Such usage might be possible with the implementation of parameter based configuration. You could make it a background likely with CSS however.
