[SOLVED] Facebook API Error Code: 100

Hello,
I have followed the instructions, created and deleted at least 10 facebook applications, upgraded to the latest cb facebook plugin. Help. I have attached details any assistance would be greatly appreciated:

Original Error Code from URL .

"API Error Code: 100

API Error Description: Invalid parameter

Error Message: next is not owned by the application."

When I hit ok on the above url it took me to a blank page at URL .

The error is coming from Facebooks own API and not FBC. This is likely an issue with Facebooks old API which they no longer support. We're preparing a new release of FBC that uses Facebooks opengraph API. Alternatively you could use the new Incubators project CB Connect which features the latest usage of Facebook API as well as allows connect using Google Friend Connect (Google, Yahoo, AIM, Twitter, and more login).

Visit your profile and click the Doc-Sub tab followed by the link Access Incubator area.

Hi Krileon,
I was facing the 100 error and tried the CB connect download from incubator as you suggested.

1. The new plugin is working partly. I can login using FB connect, but the session does not persist.. it shows for only one page- That too in the fb popup box.
2. Also, the FB login box gives an error- "Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration." but lets you log in nonetheless

The good news is it copies the username and avatar to database and i can see the new user in the search result. So it gets copied from FB to CB. maybe something wrong with the session?

Would be great if you can help me out.
The site is a heavily customized joomla site live at www.asksailors.com
Using CB 1.2.3 and CB Connect 1.0.1

PS1:I have changed some of the redirect URLs inside CB code.. other than that and profile page redesigning CB was not touched.

PS2:Ill also need to put the FB link on the signup page. Was hoping you could help out a bit

PS3:The login link on the top won't let you sign up using FB for some reason.Please use the module rendered on the right on home page

No, CB Connect does not use Session code as FBC did.

This is probably your problem, we don't support core edits.

See CB configuration followed by Registration tab and set login to display on registration.

PS3:The login link on the top won't let you sign up using FB for some reason.Please use the module rendered on the right on home page

No idea, could not access your site due to too incredibly slow and times out.

"Internal Server Error"

Review your server error logs, seams you may have a configuration issue.

Sorry, I can't help you on a compromised install. Make a fresh install of just Joomla + CB + FBC or CB Connect in a sub-directory or sub-domain and confirm if working as intended or not. If not will further investigate. If working then you'll need to debug your site.

If you have any further issues and are using CB Connect please post on CB Connects forums within the incubator, we do not support incubator projects here.
