[SOLVED] Facebook user failed to initiate

Hi,

yesterday I've installed CB 1.4 with Facebook plugin, I've followed all instruction in cbfacebook_1.2.pdf: all installation works fine!

I've logged for the first time with my FB Account and it logged in and it was linked automatically to admin account.

Then for any other new user, if I try to login with FB account I get the following message "Facebook user failed to initiate".

With firebug and chrome I don't have any error message in the console or in apache log.
All facebook plugin parameters are ok.

Could you help me please?

Common issue when facebook API can not prepare your user information. This typically happens due to misconfigured Application or Plugin, Facebook privacy settings, fatal JS errors (3rd party conflict). Most there's nothing that can be done as we're working with a 3rd party API provided by Facebook.

try cbfacebook_1.1 , i had the same problem i downgrade to 1.1

I think the issue maybe that in an effort to prevent spammers, facebook are not allowing new accounts or accounts with few friends to use fb connect to sign in.. i think this needs some investigating because the account i am using to test facebook login is not my true fb account.

THAT SEEMS TO BE THE ISSUE.

Just changed my admin email address as it was the same as my facebook account and i managed to sign in using Facebook Connect..

It works!
I don't know why....facebook mistery! Maybe is the number of friends as supposed by jag72?
If I login with my FB account, used the first time, I'm logged as admin (I've a lot of friends)
If I login with another FB account (only 4 friends) i get "Facebook user failed to initiate"
All other my friends can login with theirs FB accounts (with a lot of friends).
